Mayn Shtetl - the American Dream -Warsaw -Berlin -Paris & France - The Balkans - Israel - Buenos Aires - The Shoah. Yiddishland / Yidddish Lands. Soundtrack for an imaginary film. The story of the Rosenthal children, their lives rent apart in turbulent times. Between the two world wars, they rebuild their lives separately in Paris, New York, Buenos Aires and Israel. With this record, the composer Teddy Lasry revisits musical styles born of the encounter between yiddish music and the countries that gave it refuge.
